Kristen Black 

I'm currently based in Knoxville, TN, where I attended both the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State Community College. I joined the field of Post-Production in January of 2020, and just a few short months later was put to the test in the changing climate of the industry. I've been remotely working and thriving with a production house in Knoxville ever since.

I started "editing" around 2008 when I discovered Windows Movie Maker, Timeline view, and a page of hosted video clips of the movie Titanic at a crisp 240 res, and I was hooked. I'd been doing multiple projects over the years for different school projects, such as writing, filming and audio/video editing a music video parody that my friends won't let me post anymore. A video entirely in Spanish in college, and my aunt's wedding, so that's a pretty big deal.

I finally decided to go for it officially after graduating with my psychology degree at UT. SInce then I have fallen more in love with the art of visual editing and production, and I've found my passion in life creating engaging content for both TV, social media, and advertising to achieve different objectives...but always with quality and satisfaction in mind. I've had the pleasure of working with several networks, major brands and local businesses. I love with working with a team to create well-rounded projects.
